Die Wildwasserbande
children’s book illustrations

Last year, I collaborated with author Karolin Gaßmann to create a children’s book. My responsibilities included illustrating the characters and their surroundings, typesetting the book, designing the layout, and creating the cover design.

Additionally, I developed a font to highlight special passages. The stories are aimed at children aged four and up and are written in a unique read-aloud format. Each story is divided into two parts: children can be awakened in the morning with an exciting section and gently brought to bed at night with the conclusion of the story. However, these wake-up and bedtime stories can also be read as a continuous narrative.

This project combines creative illustration, heartfelt storytelling, and an innovative narrative format that offers children a special reading experience. It was a rewarding experience to contribute to this book and bring the world of the Wildwasserbande to life.
